ROSANNA PORTFOLIO SITE SQUARESPACE
Rosanna, a highly talented visual artist from the creative industry, had a clear vision: she wanted a portfolio website that not only showcased her work but also reflected her artistic identity. With a strong eye for storytelling through visuals, Rosanna needed a platform that felt more like an experience than a typical website.
Problem and object
Rosanna was faced with a unique problem; despite having a perfect vision for her portfolio website she was unable to find a developer that could bring that vision to life. Rosanna’s objective for the website were simple yet challenging, the project objectives were: Designing a layout that was minimal yet expressive. Ensuring the site had a conceptual flow, guiding users through her work and ethos. Creating a responsive and visually balanced interface. Integrating high-resolution visuals without sacrificing performance. Providing easy navigation without traditional menu structures.
My Approach
After several disappointing experiences, Rosanna came across Artxpro Global. She was cautiously optimistic and didn’t hold back: “Are you sure you’ll be able to create this website?” she asked our sales rep. Understanding the creative stakes, i connected her with one of our project managers who specializes in artist-led and concept-driven projects and who had a track record of working with highly creative clients.
UIUX: Following the initial kickoff, i hosted a brainstorming session with our lead UX strategist and UI designers. , i explored the creative possibilities and unique challenges of Rosanna’s vision. After hours of ideation, i developed a UX strategy and mood board. I then scheduled another meeting with Rosanna to present our direction. She was deeply involved, offering feedback, pushing boundaries, and collaborating through every design iteration. After multiple back-and-forths and refining details, i landed on a design that finally aligned with her vision. With the UI approved, i moved to development. Tech Stack Selection: The next phase was to start the development phase of the project for this i selected Squarespace as it provided a perfect canvas for this project. I utilized custom CSS paired with light animations to give the website a minimalistic yet happening look. To ensure faster load time and SEO readiness i optimized each image and ensure the site was responsive on all major platform and devices. Final Testing and Deployment: After the development phase was completed, our QA team conducted a robust testing of the website. Website was tested for both the design and responsiveness on major browsers, and devices. During this phase the website was sent back into production a couple of times as some of the elements were not exactly the same as the approved design. The QA team ensured that the developed website was the exact replica of the approved design. Once the website was cleared from the QA team it was presented to the client for approval.
Conclusion and Customer Feedback
